Balika Vadhu: Pratyusha's 'unfulfilled' dreams of becoming a bride

Every girl while growing up dresses her doll as a bride, somewhere building up hopes and dreams of seeing herself adorn the bridal avatar herself. But alas!!! Life can be cruel sometimes, and things don’t shape up as planned. The young and bubbly Pratyusha Banerjee, who was found dead at her home last evening (1 April) couldn’t see herself as a dulhan, though she had planned for the same. The Bong beauty had starry aspirations to see herself becoming renowned in the filmy world, but somewhere down the line she nurtured every girl’s dream of getting married. Pratyusha was keen on settling down with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh but now it is all a thought. As per latest reports coming in, the actress had ordered for a lehnga from designer friend Rohit Verma. Shared a source, Pratyusha was looking forward to marrying Rahul and getting settled. Little did we know that she would be dead just days after planning for wedding trousseau. The Balika Vadhu actress who was close to Rohit reportedly called him on 22 March and asked him to exclusively design a lehnga for her. She specifically gave him instructions of making it coral in colour. Since Rohit was out of town he asked her to meet him on his return. On 28 March they spoke again where Pratyusha apparently gave him more detailed information on the attire and decided to meet on 2 April to check it personally. Rohit, who is devastated with the loss, spoke to Tellychakkar.com stating, “I am not in the right condition to talk now. She was supposed to meet me today for the lehnga and here I am preparing to go for her funeral. It is so shocking and saddening. Such a young life gone.” When asked about the wedding date, the celebrity designer shared, she did not mention any date but said it was meant to happen soon. She said it might just come as a surprise for all. Well, her death has shocked all!!!
