MUMBAI: Avinash Mukherjee became a popular name as the young Jagya in the popular show, Balika Vadhu. He was last seen in Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki.

The actor took to social media and spoke about a sensitive issue. Well, he had put on some weight a few years back. During the shoot of his show Sanskaar Dharohar Apni Ki, he had received a lot of criticism due to the weight issues. He has shared a post on social media wherein he termed body-shaming as an extremely insensitive and disrespectful thing to do.

His post read, "Throwback to 86 kgs.. body shaming is an undienable truth in today’s “digital” age. If they say let ‘em , you got better things to do in life and most importantly you know you can change anytime you want. The feeling…"
