MUMBAI: Dipika Kakar, one of the most adored and talented contestants on Celebrity MasterChef, has left an indelible mark on the competition.
With her exceptional culinary skills, she consistently impressed the judges and was the first to secure the coveted immunity pin.
However, a few weeks ago, Dipika was noticeably absent from the show due to a shoulder injury. Her condition led to the judges placing her directly into the elimination round, a decision made in consideration of her health.
In the latest episode, Dipika made the difficult decision to exit the competition as her injury worsened.

The pain became unbearable, forcing her to prioritise her well-being. Her departure was an emotional moment, as she candidly shared her struggles in continuing the challenge.
Speaking about her health, Dipika revealed, "The situation has deteriorated. The injury has caused stiffness, which has now started affecting my back as well."
Judge Ranveer enquired how she intended to continue cooking, to which a tearful Dipika admitted, "I won’t be able to cook any further or continue with the show."
Despite medical advice urging her to rest, Dipika had pushed herself to compete. She explained, "Two weeks ago, when I sustained the injury, the doctor advised that rest was the only solution. But I kept going, took breaks, and returned. However, being here and not being able to give my best doesn’t feel right, as I constantly have to be cautious about my hand."
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the contestants for their unwavering support and the immense love and empathy they had shown her. With a heavy heart, she acknowledged that she had no other choice.
Following this heartfelt revelation, Ranveer confirmed her departure from the show, marking an emotional moment for both the judges and fellow contestants.
Farah Khan expressed her sadness, stating she could not imagine the show without Dipika.
There is no doubt that both the judges and viewers will deeply miss Dipika’s presence on the show.
