Comedy Circus not going off air; Indian Idol to get a new timeslot

Sony Entertainment Television’s K<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/its-time-teen-ka-tadka-comedy-circus>ahaani Comedy Circus Ki</a> has been tickling the funny bone of the audiences for nearly five years (the show first aired on 2007). It was reported that the show is all set to bid adieu in May-June to make way for the sixth season of singing reality show, <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/i-have-been-only-honest-judge-indian-idol-anu-malik>Indian Idol</a></em>. Sony Entertainment Television’s Kahaani Comedy Circus Ki has been tickling the funny bone of the audiences for nearly five years (the show first aired on 2007). It was reported that the show is all set to bid adieu in May-June to make way for the sixth season of singing reality show, Indian Idol. But now we at Tellychakkar.com have some news that will surely bring a smile to your faces. Sources inform us that the creative of the channel and the producer, in a recent meeting, decided to continue with the show. Tellychakkar.com contacted Producer Vipul Shah and he confirmed, “Everyone knows that Comedy Circus is a brand in itself. According to the broadcasters and also as per GRPs, the show has always done wonders. Therefore, instead of giving a break to Comedy Circus the channel decided to continue with Comedy Circus.” The new season of this comedy show would be airing on the same time as it does currently and Indian Idol will air on a different time slot. Comedy Circus will surely be retained till December 2012.
