MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s Celebrity MasterChef is heating up as contestants battle it out in a series of intense challenges to secure the ever longed for ‘Immunity Pin’. Judges Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan have introduced a nerve-wracking mini challenge – the onion chopping test. The challenge kicks off with Chef Ranveer, demonstrating how to chop onions while being blindfolded, leaving everyone stunned. He soon announces that they will not need to be blindfolded but the real challenge is however chopping 500 grams of onions in under 20 minutes – perfectly and precisely – to secure a spot in the race towards Immunity!
As Chef Vikas Khanna describes it, this is the “perfect challenge of quantity and quality.”
As the contestants gave their best, Faisal Shaikh encountered a setback when he accidently injured his finger. However, after receiving the necessary treatment, he completed the challenge with utmost dedication. Confirming the incident, Faisal Shaikh says, "Kitchen accidents are a part of the process. You can’t let small setbacks slow you down. I knew I had to keep going, focus on the goal and power through.” With Faisal's unwavering spirit and competitive drive, the challenge becomes even more intense.
