Sony’s upcoming reality show Iss Jungle Se Muje Bachao has faced many difficulties in terms of getting celebrity contestants on-board. If rumours are to be believed then some of the well known personalities of the country were approached for the show but most of them refused. They were apparently scared to take the risk involved in the show.
Informs a source, “The channel is very excited about the show because of its unique concept and one is sure that it will completely enthrall the audiences. But getting the celebrities to participate in the show proved to be a tough task for the channel as most of them refused to do it. The celebrities apparently found it very dangerous as the show demands them to survive in a jungle on their own.”
Adds the source, “Along with Karan Singh Grover and Amit Sana, actress Simone Singh and model turned actor Shenaz Treasurywala were also approached but they refused to do the show.”
When contacted, actress Simone Singh confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I was offered to be a part of the show but I refused as I feel it isn’t meant for me. But I definitely feel that the show is going to be a success and will interest the viewers.”
Shehnaz too confirmed that she was offered the show. She said, “I had also been approached for Iss Jungle.. but I couldn’t take it up due to my prior commitments.”
It seems that the contestants will surely scream Iss Jungle Se Muje Bachao.
