Yes, this is the basic theme behind the making of the short film Flag Off, directed and written by Manoj Mauryaa. The film is produced by Cloud Story and Muse Movies.
The main protagonist in the short film will be actor Anuj Sharma.
Flag Off is an untold, unsaid, never-noticed feeling for our head-lift, honourable flag, told, said and noticed by the most patriotic civilian of the nation. The film will bring tears in the eyes of the layman, and most importantly will bring in a smile and love for our tri-color.
Anuj Sharma who has portrayed various shaded characters in his episodics and fiction shows will portray the role of the patriotic civilian in the film.
When contacted, Anuj told us, “I think being human is the utmost blessing. The power to think, see, act, create and feel, visualize, emote, express and then execute is a deep and creative process. I have done so many characters, and played so many shades, but working in this film with such a great director gives me so much of satisfaction as an actor. When Manojji narrated the script to me, I got tears in my eyes, as only a pure Indian can come up with such a concept and idea. He has given all his passion and love to make this film. Jaihind, Jai Bharat!!”
Flag Off launches in digital space on 14 August.
