MUMBAI: A good friend is like a four-leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have. Dev Joshi and Anahita Bhooshan, our very own Debu and Ananya from Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns, share an exceptional bond after meeting on the sets of Baalveer Returns. It has been one year that Anahita Bhooshan joined the show and their friendship so far has been a reason to celebrate. Termed #Debanya by their fans, the duo spilt the beans, reliving old memories and talking about their friendship.

Here is what they have to say about their irreplaceable bond:

Dev Joshi aka Baalveer, sharing his experience shooting with Anahita said, “Building a rapport with someone takes years sometimes but my journey with Anahita is an exception. Though we never knew each other before the show, we have great level of understanding and faith on each other. It is for the first time that such character was introduced for Baalveer and we have shot some of the most exciting and wonderful scenes together. When I first met Ananya, I thought of her as an introvert and an arrogant person. However, as we started talking, I realised I was wrong. It's always a treat to have her on the set of Baalveer Returns. She is a hard working person and always tries to learn new things from everyone around.”

Anahita, detailing about her bond with Dev, said “Dev and I share an outstanding relationship and we are really good friends. In the span of one year, there hasn’t been a day we didn’t enjoy each other’s company on the sets. Some of our cute on-screen nok-jhok that the audience appreciates, is the same in real life as well- we fight and argue on small things. However, I really adore how supportive Dev is as a co-star. Since this was the first time I was doing a television show, he left no stone unturned to support me. I never thought that we would bond so well and become best of friends. We are Debu and Ananya in real life as well and our friendship resonates on screen.”

Talking about qualities that they love about each other and their fondest memories together, Dev said “I have found Anahita to be very honest and always forthright. In today's world, where people are mostly two-faced, she is one of the most authentic peopls I have met and most importantly, she is trustworthy. There are innumerable memories that we have shared in this one year.” Adding further, Anahita said, “I am always the target for any pranks on the set and Dev likes to pull my leg as he knows that I am a soft target. During the early days when I had just joined, I used to believe that I have a very serious co-actor and my journey in Baalveer Returns will be boring. However, as I got to know him, I realized how fun he actually is!”

Dev Joshi concluded, “Having a friend like Anahita has been one of the best parts about Baalveer Returns and I hope we keep learning, growing and creating memories together.”
