Karan Kundra's popularity allows him to fly high

Being popular can come real handy at times. And ask Karan Kundra…for he will tell more about it. Yes, this handsome, young lad has climbed to Aonian heights of popularity via his impressive diverse stints in different television shows (Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Gumrah). In a recent incident, the entire team of Gumrah (Star Plus and Channel V) went to Goa for a shoot. The schedule overshot its fixed timing and the shoot went on a little longer than expected. Hence Karan and producer Vikas Gupta reached the airport all panting just ten minutes prior to the departure time of their return flight to Mumbai. “I had 11:50pm flight from Goa to Mumbai but I was shooting till 10:30, so I got late to reach the airport,” shared Karan. As per the rules, gates to get boarding pass for any passenger shuts 40 minutes prior to a flight’s departure. So did he and Vikas miss the flight? “No, actually they recognized me and allowed us to get in,” laughed Karan. Hmm…see being popular does help… The actor continued, “I have entered Chandigarh airport at the last minute not once but thrice. This has also happened in Kerela once.” So does his popularity help him? “Yes, it does and apart from that I also travel a lot to Chandigarh so people have started recognizing me at the airport.” But this is not something that the actor follows on a daily basis as he stated, “I am not somebody who will misuse my position. I usually make it a point to reach the airport two hours before the flight but I do get late when my shoot time gets prolonged.” So now you know who to take along with if you’re running late for a flight!!!
