KOLKATA: It’s a new beginning for Mishmee Das! The actress has bagged a role in Star Jalsha’s upcoming serial Mayurpankhi, produced by Magic Moments.
Mishmee, who has previously been a part of serials like Phagun Bou, Premer Phande, and Gachhkouto, will essay a key role in Mayurpankhi.
When we contacted the actress, she refused to reveal her character details but shared her excitement.
‘I can’t disclose that now,’ she said when asked about her role in it.
How excited is she about the project? ‘I’m excited because it’s a serious story and very unique, and so is my character. Again, it’s Leena (Gangopadhyay) aunty’s project; I love her writing. I haven’t started shooting yet, as my character has a slightly late entry,’ she said.
The trailer of Mayurpankhi is out. The makers have roped in Shoumya Mukherjee, who was seen in Hoichoi’s Holy Faak, and Sohini Guha Roy, who acted in Colors Bangla’s Resham Jhanpi, to play the lead roles.
