Scriptwriter Mushtaq Shiekh who has occasionally played a roadside villain in some of his good friend Shah Rukh Khan’s movies like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Ra.One makes his TV debut in good friend Ekta Kapoor’s show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain Mushtaq. He will be seen in tonight's episode only.
Sources reveal that Mushtaq was holidaying with Ekta and the cast of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain in Australia when she had a small role penned for him, which was of a roadside villain (goonda). And he of course could not turn her down; he jumped at the opportunity. "I had a blast acting with Sakshi and Ram. I did it for my best buddy Ekta," he told Tellychakkar.com.
He added: “I am just continuing the tradition of playing the cool goonda. It’s just that I thought I should not break it. It was to repeat history. After all I will be the first one to eve tease Sakshi on Indian television. ”
Wonder if he will ever graduate to playing Don? It's over to Farhan Akhtar and Shah rukh Khan.
