Nidhi Tiwari and Smita Sharan bag Sony TV’s Amrit

MUMBAI: Here we are back with another update from Shashi Sumeet’s upcoming show on Sony Entertainment Television.

We exclusively broke the news about Shashi Sumeet Productions bringing a new period drama titled Amrit starring actresses Pranali Rathod, Anchal Sahu and Gracy Goswami in the lead roles (Read here: Gracy Goswami, Pranali Rathod & Anchal Sahu to play the female leads in Shashi Sumeet’s next on Sony TV).

We also informed about actors namely Kabeer Kumar, Shivam Khajuria, Divjot Sabarwal, Vaishnavi MacDonald and Nasirr Khan are also roped in to play pivotal parts of the show.

Now, we hear that actresses namely Nidhi Tiwari (Crime Patrol) and Smita Sharan (Ishq Mein Marjawan) have been roped in for the show. They will depict the roles of Zara and Noora respectively.

Amrit’s story will be based in Lahore and it will revolve around three love stories of different age groups.

Shashi Sumeet Productions currently bankrolls Shaadi Mubarak on Star Plus, Barrister Babu on Colors, Aye Mere Humsafar on Dangal TV and Tera Yaar Hoon Main on SAB TV.
