KK Media Groups is coming with a new show based on the life of famous Hindu poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas.

The production house is helmed by Sanjay Singh and Shamal Sharma. They have earlier produced many regional shows and films and this will be their first stint in Hindi drama.

The project is at a very initial stage and the makers are in talks with the big GECs that is DD1, Colors and Sony Entertainment Television for an airing platform. But our sources maintain that most probably Sony would beam the serial given its current programming bent towards historical and mytho shows (Maharana Pratap, Hanuman, Suryaputra Karn).

Now coming to the lead role of Goswami Tulsidas, we have the name of the actor who has been signed for it.

And he is a historical expert…Well, we are talking about talented Paras Arora (Veer Shivaji & Abhimanyu).  

When we buzzed him, he shared, “Yes, I have shot for the pilot shoot and things are at a deciding stage.”

We have also learnt that television actor Chandresh Singh will portray Tulsidas’s father Atmaram Shukla Dube and child artist Abhishek Jha will play Tulsidas’s childhood role. 

The shooting for the show has already begun.
