MUMBAI: Bigg Boss will soon be back with a brand new season. The internet is abuzz with news and updates surrounding our favourite reality show, which is entering its 14th season this year.
From the contestant list to how much Salman is being paid, the audience is eager to know about the smallest of details about it. The show is slated to go on air in the first week of October, which is three months from now.
Usually, the show begins in the month of September, but owing to the covid-2019 pandemic, it has been deferred by a month.
As per media reports, the online auditions have already been completed, and the makers have selected a total of 30 contestants, of which the final 16 will be locked inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. Reportedly, out of the 16 shortlisted contestants, 13 will be celebrities and 3, commoners.

As per media reports, it seems that Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra’s ex Aseem Merchant has been approached for the show. The actor was approached for season 7, but things didn’t work out.
Now, he has apparently expressed his desire to be a part of the show. At one point he was rumoured to be in a relationship with PC, during the initial days of her acting career.
Bigg Boss 13 was a huge success, and the makers are playing it very safe for this season as they need to do way better than the previous season, which is a tough job.
Well, it will be interesting to see who the contestants will be and how the show will fare this season.
