We are referring to the new bromance in the Bengali TV industry.  

Readers, actors Rajib Basu, who was last seen in Premer Phande and Somraj Maity, who is currently seen in Ei Cheleta Bhelbheleta, have become buddies. 

When Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Rajib to know more about this ‘new dosti’, he shared, “It’s not very long that we have met; we met may be three-four months back.” 

“Actually, we have a lot of common friends so we keep on meeting each other,” he added.  

So, are you guys now each other’s 3 am friends? He replied, “Almost. I guess our wavelength matched and we think alike and that’s why we became friends. We hangout whenever we get time in cafes or pubs.” 

Rajib says that although they party together but they never end up hitting on the same girl. 

He quipped with a wink, “No, we don’t hit on girls. We are bhodro cheles (decent guys).”

However, Rajib doesn’t mind adoring a girl at a party. 

“Somraj is a good chap. I feel he is not into these ‘jhaari mara’ things. I leave that duty on myself,” said the actor.

For the uninitiated, if a guy/girl looks and adores a guy/girl it is called ‘jhari mara’ in Bengali.
