Star Plus to launch a crime based show; Naveen Chandwani to play lead?

Here’s churning out fresh information from the house of popular GEC, Star Plus. Yes, if sources are to be believed, the channel is all set to launch a new crime based show. The 18 episode series will depict different criminal incidents. It will also have a love story between the main antagonist and a female crime journalist. The thriller tale will have a young cute looking but deadly criminal something on the lines of Mardaani’s Tahir Hussain. The show has been tentatively titled Criminal. And Delhi boy Naveen Chandwani has been signed to play the male lead, the same source further adds. The character of the journalist will be played by a known face and the channel is yet to finalise upon an actor for the same. The source continues, “For the time being, the channel hasn’t yet decided on the production house which will take the project to floors and are taking keen interest in finalizing the initial detailing.” When we got in touch with Naveen he said, “They had approached me but there has been no further information.
