"The world needs more artists to show us a ray of hope during these tough times," says Sara Khan

MUMBAI : Actress Sara Khan who is popular for her role in the hit television show, Bidaai, speaks up about the current crisis state of the world, and how she thinks artists should come together to bring back peace and harmony into the society.

She says, "As an actor and an artist, I feel like I need to contribute more towards the society in terms of art. The world needs more artists to show us a ray of hope during these tough times. Artists need to unite and work towards bringing back peace and harmony into the society through their work. Art, whether it's acting, cinematography, writing, dancing or singing, is a powerful medium of self-expression, and I believe in the power of artists. It's what the chaotic world needs right now."

Further talking about her love for music, she says, "I've loved to write and sing ever since I was a child. But it's only now that I got the chance to venture into singing. It's something that brings me so much peace and happiness. Just like acting does. I wish to continue doing both acting and singing as they're both just such big parts of who I am as a person."

When asked how she will manage both her acting and music career, she says, "When I started shooting for Santoshi Maa, I wondered how I'd manage my music career, but then I'm making it a point to focus equally on both my acting as well as my singing career."

Sara is currently seen in &TV's show, Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein as Devi Paulomi. The actress looks extremely beautiful in the new look, and says she's happy to be shooting once again after the lockdown.
