MUMBAI: Anupama is one of the most loved serials on television and is number one on the TRP charts, as the storyline is gripping and real.

The audiences love the acting chops of Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey, as they make the scenes and characters look real.

Moreover, the character of Anupama is very strong and the fans love watching the serial is because of the gripping and interesting storyline.

But did you know that before the makers finalised Rupali for the role, it was offered to a few actresses who refused?

1. Mona Singh

Mona Singh was offered the role of Anupama but why the actress refused the role in still unknown.

2. Gauri Pradhan

Gauri was offered the show and had given a screen test for the same, but then the makers thought that she wouldn’t fit the bill, and that’s how things didn’t work.

3. Sakshi Tanwar

Sakshi was also offered the role of Anupama but the actress couldn’t take up the offer as she was busy in her web and Bollywood projects.

4. Juhi Parmar

Juhi when she was offered Anupama was also offered another show, and the actress chose the other show over Anupama.

5. Shweta Salve

Shweta was also offered the role of Anupama and had given a screen test. The makers also zeroed down on her but owing to some financial reason, it didn’t happen.

6. Shweta Tiwari

Shweta was also offered the role of Anupama but the actress couldn’t take up the offer as the was busy in her prior commitments.

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Rupali Ganguly, and fans feel she is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Anupama the way she did.

No doubt that it’s a big loss for these actors, and they missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
