Who’s your choice?

It’s that time of the year again when viewers vote for their favourite Star Plus’ characters at the Star- parivaar awards. This time round the viewers will see performance from the new characters as the old parivaar characters make way for the new characters. Characters from Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Bidaai, Grahasti, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Sachin-Supriya; Hussain-Tina; Aamir-Sanjeeda, the three winning Nach Baliye Jodis will perform. This time round one will see Sarita Joshi (Baa Bahoo Aur Baby) and Sudha Shivpuri (Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) along with other nominess competing in the favourite buzurg category. Favourite saas will have Sarita Joshi battling it out with Sakshi Tanwar (Kahaani), Gautami Kapoor (Kyunki) and Seema Kapoor (Bidaai). In the favourite naya sadasya (female) category Ekta’s new finding Additi Gupta (Heer of Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil) is pitched against Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan (Sadhana and Parul in Bidaai respectively). Harshad Chopda (Prem in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil), Angad Hasija (Alekh in Bidaai) along with other two names will be competing for Favourite naya sadasya (male). Hiten and Gauri Tejwani(Karan and Nandini from Kyunki), Shabbir and Panchi Bora (Milind and Prachi from Kayamath) and Juhi Parmar and Hussain (Kumkum and Sumit from Kumkum) are a few names which are nominated in the favourite Jodi category. Ronit Roy (Mihir from Kyunki), Karan Patel (Robbie from Kasturi), Shabbir Ahluwalia (Milind from Kayamath) and Kiran Karmarkar (Om from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii) are nominated in the favourite Pati category and Sara Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Gautami Kapoor and Shubhangi Atrey Poojari (Kasturi in Kasturi)are nominated in the favourite Patni category. The favourite Khalnayak category will have Irfan (Mohammed Ghori in Prithviraj Chauhan), Shaleen Bhanot (Madan in Sangam), Chetan Hansraj (Saasha in Kahaani), Suvarna Jha (Trupti in Kyunki) and Bharat Chawda (Chotu in Kahaani) as nominess. Some other categories are favourite Yogya Jodi, Beta, Beti and Bahu wherein viewers will have to make a tough choice of choosing their favourite actors in different categories.
