Make world more inclusive place: Tiger Shroff

Actor Tiger Shroff has extended their support for mental health and disability with a bhangra pop track titled "Dimaag ke taale tod na" by a band named 6-Pack Band 2.0 and Brooke Bond Red Label tea. He urges to be patient, accepting differences and make this world a more inclusive place.

The song features Tiger and singer Mika Singh, who urge people to open their minds against biases, prejudice and accept people irrespective of their differences. On the other hand, the 6-Pack Band 2.0 also shows the world that no disability can hold you back, if given the right kind of love and support.

"Children are our future and it was so inspiring to get to know and perform with the 6-Pack Band. I love how each one of them takes each day as it comes with a smile. I think all of us can learn how to be more patient, understanding and accepting of all our differences and make this world a more inclusive place," Tiger said in a statement.

Tiger says he is grateful to have been part of "this for it has certainly taught me to value life a little more!"

The music video featuring Tiger has been inspired by a real-life incident involving a differently abled person who was intimidated by an experience that most special needs people and their parents have been through at some stage.

"We are delighted about the launch of Brooke Bond Red Label 6 Pack Band 2.0's next song which is yet another call for a more inclusive world," Shiva Krishnamurthy General Manager, Brooke Bond Red Label, Hindustan Unilever said.

Film's box office success not my aim: Rajkummar

Actor Rajkummar Rao, whose latest film Fanney Khan has received mixed response from the audience, says that box office success of a movie is not his aim.

Rajkummar was interacting with media to promote his forthcoming film Stree on Tuesday.

The critically acclaimed actor has been often praised by critics and audiences. But he is yet to transform that into a major box office success like his male counterparts such as Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been able to.

Asked whether he is working on that aspect, the National Award winner said, "That is not in my hands so, I don't have any idea how to work on that aspect."

"My job is to deliver good performances. My last year's films, whether it was Bareilly Ki Barfi, Trapped or Newton, have done good business. So it is not that my films haven't done well at the box office.

"My films are doing good business. That's the reason why I am constantly working in many films. Box office success of a film is not my aim because it is not in my hands. My job is to act and I get satisfied when people appreciate my work."

Rajkummar has featured in different kinds of films. Now he is doing a horror comedy.

Asked whether it's his conscious effort to act in different types of films, he said, "Definitely. That's my conscious effort because that's the fun of being an actor... to do different kinds of stuff.

"If I will keep doing the same thing over and over again then, I will get bored and the audience will also get bored of me. Therefore, my effort is to choose unique characters or I do something different while playing those characters which will excite me and the audience."

Stree, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, is scheduled to release on 31 August.

Shatrughan Sinha on his special bonding with Dharmendra

Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha has sportingly made a special appearance in the forthcoming film Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se with actor Dharmendra whom he calls one of his dearest friends.

"Not just Dharmendra, Hema (Malini) is also a dear friend. Both Hema and Dharmendra have been my friends for years. It is rare for a friendship to survive so long in this industry where loyalties change every Friday," said Shatrughan.

"All three of us have worked together in Dulal Guha's excellent film Dost which I think was released in 1974. This is one of my favourite films. Also, Vijay Anand's Blackmail which Dharmendra and I were cast together. That was a special film. I think my wife Poonam has also worked in a film with Dharmendra."

But Shatrughan says his relations with Dharmendra and Hema go far beyond the professional.

"We are there for one another any time we need each other. Doing that small role in Yamla Pagla Deewana was not something I had to think about. It was a yes even before Dharmendra asked."

He calls Dharmendra "God's personal favourite".

"He is golden-hearted. Do you know we would have done Sholay together? But God and Ramesh Sippy had other plans," laughs Shatrughan.
