MUMBAI : With Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar returning for the fifth comedy series, the eagerly awaited Housefull 5 is sure to be another laugh-riot. Under the direction of Tarun Mansukhani, the movie is scheduled to begin filming in late August with a schedule that includes London and an exciting cruise-based shot. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, and Abhishek Bachchan make up the main cast. Fardeen Khan has also joined the team, according to a Pinkvilla story. After their huge hit Heyy Babyy, Akshay, Fardeen, and Sajid Nadiadwala are back together.
A source revealed, “After Heyy Babyy, the trio of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, and Sajid Nadiadwala is coming together for Housefull 5,” revealed a source close to the development to the publication. “It’s a fun-filled role for Fardeen and the actor is also excited to work again with Akshay after their soon-to-be-released Khel Khel Mein. There were multiple contenders for the role in question, including Arjun Rampal, and it’s Fardeen Khan who is now ready to make an entry in the world of Housefull.”
THe star studded cast will include some top actresses and makers are currently at the look out for them.
The source further added, “It's a comic thriller, where one episode brings the house down inside a cruise. The idea is to introduce a new flavor of comedy with Housefull 5.”
The producers plan to shoot the film from August to November 2024, with an ambitious release date of June 6, 2025. Akshay Kumar is anticipated to complete a 20-day schedule for Welcome To The Jungle in Mumbai and Kashmir before beginning work on Housefull 5.
