When John Abraham lost his cool on the media

John Abraham almost did a Salman Khan at Jai Hind college's alumini Meet. The star while addressing the media took serious offence when a scribe repeatedly questioned him about his hush-hush marriage with Priya Runchal. When asked if he would be throwing a reception party for his Bollywood friends, John Abraham said, "I don't party anymore." The curious reporter persisted and repeatedly asked him the same question prompting John to repeat the same 'I don't party anymore' answer in a much louder and angry tone. Sensing that John was growing irate, his publicist signalled the end of the media interaction. And that is when the reporter shot his parting salvo at the actor. “But John you have always been so expressive in life. Why did you get married secretly?” The question made John fly off the handle, almost. Training his eyes at the reporter, John glared angrily and menacingly approached him. Fortunately, his publicist and other organisers managed to pacify the actor but not before he had exchanged a few concerned words with his publicist. John was then whisked off to a waiting car by the event coordinators thereby preventing the situation from snowballing into an ugly fracas. Though the questioning left a sour taste in John's mouth, the actor posed with a few breathless lady fans before charmingly smiling his way out. Well, all we can say is as journalists, we reserve the right to ask tough questions to film stars.
