Is MTV Splitsvilla 8 rigged?

MTV Splitsvilla 8

In the reality television space, one cannot really fathom how much things are real, and how much of it is doctored.

Often we hear stories about reality shows being scripted. Some are and some aren’t. But at times the pressure to bring in numbers leads to a scenario where the creatives begin to manipulate situations directly or indirectly.

Now something similar is what we have heard  about MTV’s upcoming reality show Splitsvilla 8 (Lost Boy and Colesceum).

A source of ours has informed that the series, even before hitting the airwaves, has pre-decided its winners.

Now, we cannot really vouch for this information but we thought of sharing it with our readers and diehard fans of the show, for the sake of transparency.

Tellychakkar.com informed viewers about Paras Chhabra (Splitsvilla 5), Zaan Khan (PS I Hate You) and Mintoo Amaad (Warrior High) being participants in the contest.

Now we have more celebrity names who are a part of it. They are Prince of Roadies X2 fame, Subuhi Joshi (Splitsvilla), Mia Lakra (Channel V reality shows) and Karishma Talwar.

“They are roping in more contestants but the truth is that the winners are already decided. Paras and Prince will be in the finale and one of the would win. Everyone in the cast and crew seem to be aware of it,” informed the source.

Well, since names were being tossed in the air we decided to check with Producer Vikas Gupta (Lost Boy) for a clarification, but he remained unavailable for a comment.

We could not get any response from the channel spokesperson as well.

MTV Splitsvilla 8 will be hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singh. It will air in the coming month.

Well, we can only hope that we are proven wrong and the integrity of Splitsvilla remains intact.
