Yes, she is fond of reading. In fact, she is an avid reader. She is often spotted reading books before going in to bat.
According to reports, before walking out to bat against England, Mithali read a book by Jalaluddin Rumi on life essentials.
Another old report states that she has a collection of Enid Blyton books gifted to her by former coach Purnima Rau.
A few days back, Mithali had shared a picture on Instagram wherein she was seen immersed in a book. ‘“ A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies ..... the man who never reads lives only one “ _ George R.R Martin,’ read her caption.
