MUMBAI: A ‘Bharat Bandh’ is being observed today after the Parliament passed three Farm Bills recently. 

Various groups of farmers called for a nationwide shutdown today against these three farm bills. 

These bills were passed by the Lok and the Rajya Sabha in the Parliament during the Monsoon session and awaiting presidential assent. 

While this bill massively impacted the farmers in North India, many Punjabi celebrities are now standing in solidarity with the protesting farmers including Diljit Dosanjh and Bigg Boss 13 fame and Punjabi sensation Himanshi Khurana. 

This afternoon, Himanshi Khurana stood in solidarity with the farmers by joining their protest in Punjab. Opting for a traditional dress, the actress addressed the media and spoke in support of India’s ‘kissan’ (farmers). 

As a doting boyfriend, Asim Riaz took to his Insta story and applauded his girlfriend’s move by sharing her picture from the on going protest in Punjab and wrote, “Well Done! Himanshi Khurana.” 

Asim and Himanshi often makes the social media keep gushing on them every time they post a picture together, especially over their social media PDA. 

Setting couple goals right, Asim and Himanshi were recently seen in a new music video named ‘Afsos Karoge’ Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana were previously seen in other singles like ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’, ‘Khyaal Rakhya Kar’, and ‘Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam’. 

This afternoon, Asim Riaz dropped his latest release ‘Badan Pe Sitare 2.0’ online. The song is the redux version of Bollywood’s OG iconic song which was initially crooned by Mohammad Rafi. The peppy track featuring Asim Riaz and Sehnoor will set your party mood right.
