MUMBAI: Remember watching Uma in Tere Shere Mein on Star Plus?
Actress Mrinal K Singh, who portrayed the character in the show, will soon be seen in yet another Star Plus show.
The actress will be seen playing a significant role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai under the banner of Producer Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions.
The production house has been a launching pad for Mrinal.
Apart from Tere Sheher Mein, the pretty lady has acted in a web series produced by Rajan Shahi and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai marks Mrinal's third association with Director's Kut Productions.

As per the current storyline, Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) are on the verge of divorce. Subsequently, there is a wedding galore in the Singhania and Goenka mansion as Mansi and Amol are all set to tie the knot.
As per our credible sources, Mrinal will be introduced in the show as Kartik and Naira’s friend.
When we contacted the Producer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Rajan Shahi, he said, “This is Mrinal’s third show with us (Director's Kut Productions). She has been a part of Tere Sheher Mein and has been a part of our web series too earlier. I am happy that she is a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Kartik and Naira’s current situation depicts how the basic foundation of love, that is true respect and most importantly, friendship, and how this gets tested.
