Kavita Barjatya now active on Twitter

Kavita Barjatya, granddaughter of Shri Tarachand Barjatya, founder of Rajshri Productions opened a Twitter account a few years back chose to stay active on Facebook as that was the most ‘in’ thing at that time. But now, the news is that she is back on Twitter and is very much active, so much that she has crossed almost a 100 tweets; as it read: “100 Tweets on Twitter and here comes my 101st. Milestone for a person like me who never imagined being in the world of 140 characters :).” Speaking to the latest twitter addict, Kavita expressed, “I have been using Facebook for many years now. My Facebook is limited to friends and family; on Twitter I get an opportunity to connect with my audience. Although Facebook does enable you to have Followers; Twitter is more preferred platform for staying connected with those who are interested in learning more about you (and vice versa) but are not your personal friends. Furthermore, Twitter is short and simple; you can update in 140 characters and also share links and pictures. What more can you ask for?” But when there is already Facebook available for her to socialize. Why Twitter? She added, “I think I can gather industry insights, understand sentiments of audience and request feedback on my work. After all, it is the audience who will decide what they wish to watch and as a filmmaker it’s important for me to stay connected with them and understand their taste, preferences, likes and dislikes.” Announcing the launch of her film, Samrat & Co. to Tellychakkar.com, which is due to release on 1 May, 2014 she added… “Rajshri Productions has been successful in connecting well with the youth and family audience. With changing trends, I am keen to offer fresh entertainment and introduce unexplored subjects to our audience. I am following what I learnt from my grandfather late Shri Tarachandji Barjatya ...
