Mitaali Nag is truly a blessed woman with a beautiful face and an even more beautiful voice.
Well, after impressing viewers with her immaculate acting talent, the dusky beauty is now all set to mesmerize the world with her sweet voice. Yes, Mitaali has recently lent her voice for a song Kaise jaye guzari in the upcoming film Ebn-e-Batuta.
And when we buzzed her, the excited actress shared, “Music has always been an important agenda in my career plans but shooting for dailies hardly gave me any time to sharpen my singing skills. Thus, I had to put it on the back burner. But after I wrapped up my last show I started polishing my skills by going to music classes.”
“When this offer came to me, I wasn't really sure how will it shape up. And since I am more of a stage performer, I gave it my best shot and the end result does look good (smiles). It’s just a start for me and I have a long way to come out with flying colours with my singing abilities.” Mitaali averred.
When asked about her experience while recording the song, she observed, “We recorded the song at Kailash Kher’s studio and the whole experience was a beautiful one. I really loved every bit of it. It was an enjoyable yet a learning experience on the whole.”
Mitaali thanked her team members Satya Khare, Sumeet Bellary and Sunny MR who supported her all through. “We are also planning two singles; one a peppy dance number and the other a soft romantic number. Let’s see how all of this will finally turn out to be,” she quipped with an infectious smile.
We also got curious and asked her as to which Bollywood actress would she want to playback for? “To be honest, I would love to playback for myself someday. When I watched Rock On and saw Farhan Akhtar crooning his own numbers, it gave me a big high. I hope someday a film is made on a female rock star in which I would play the lead and sing also (winks),” she answered.
Well, we would surely love that Mitaali!!
