Sumona Chakravarti continues shooting despite injuring her thumb

Sumona Chakravarti is currently making her mark as Natasha in Balaji Telefilms' Bade Acche Lagte Hain (Sony Entertainment Television). There is no doubt that she is an impressive performer, but she is also committed and a thorough professional. Why do we say so? Well, the actress met with an accident on Saturday evening last week (3 March 2012) but continued shooting despite being in pain. Here's what really happened. After shooting, Sumona was on her way back home on her car when she banged her thumb while closing the door. It got badly crushed but initially she did not take the injury seriously. She continued shooting for Bade Acche… from Monday (5 March 2012) but on Wednesday (7 March 2012), the pain aggravated a lot and she went to a city based private hospital. There her injury was operated and now, she is feeling a lot better. "Initially, I did not really pay much attention to the pain. I thought it's something minor. But suddenly the pain aggravated and I had to be operated on Wednesday. I did not shoot for the next two days but will resume shooting from tomorrow (10 March 2012)," said Sumona.
