Kolkata: Actress Rituparna Sengupta says that actress–director Aparna Sen has always gifted her life-changing experience on-screen, which made her a better individual off-screen.
Aparna and Rituparna collaborated for the film Paromitar Ek Din. Aparna directed the Bengali film, and Rituparna played Aparna’s daughter-in-law. The film revolves around relationships between women and earned many awards.
Aparna turns a year older today, and to wish her on her birthday, Rituparna took to social media. Sharing a picture of the duo, the actress wrote on Twitter, ‘Rina di (Aparna) you have always gifted me a life changing experience on screen which made me better individual off screen. You empower us in every sense. Happy birthday. You turned a year younger.’
