Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: This is how NCB nailed the link between Showik, Miranda, and drug peddlers

MUMBAI: Rhea and her brother Showik were arrested by the NCB for procuring and consuming drugs.

Times Now has accessed the CDR record that helped the NCB find the link between Showik and the drug peddlers.

One of the alleged peddlers, Karan Arora's confession led to Zaid and Basit's arrest, which then led to them specifying their link to Showik and Miranda.

There were calls exchanged between Miranda and Zaid, and it was Samuel who used to bring drugs to SSR’s household. Basit had introduced Showik to Zaid.

This is how the NCB cracked the link between these drug peddlers and Showik and Miranda. It was mainly the digital evidence that nailed all of them, and that is what is mentioned in the NCB remand copy.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, a special court will be hearing the bail plea of Rhea and Showik. Rhea has apparently claimed that she was forced to give statements, but the NCB will be opposing the bail plea.
